Call Down His Blessings

You were born-again to bring the glory of God to the earth.

When Jesus saved you and created you anew, He implanted the desires of His heart in your heart through the Holy Spirit. Upon your new birth, the Holy Spirit was given to you as a downpayment of the inheritance God has promised you as a son and a daughter (see Ephesians 1:13-14.)

Know this, the Holy Spirit is the very Spirit of the triune God, all who Jesus is – “For in Him (Jesus) all the fullness of deity dwells bodily…(Colossians 2:9.) Therefore, if the Spirit of God dwells in you, you have access to the heart and desires of God.

Knowing this, Jesus has said this to us:

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples.

Jesus – John 15:7-8

Call Down the Blessings of Heaven

Jesus is very clear, He wants us to ask Him for the things that are on His heart. In fact, He has promised to give us what we ask for. Promised. Because we have the Spirit of God dwelling within us and the words of Jesus empowering our every-day moments, the promises and purposes of God are readily available for us – He wants to move through you!

As children of God, we have an amazing privilege to call down the blessings of Heaven for our world. Jesus has given us authority to ask and receive on behalf of the world. The conduit through which God wants to rescue and redeem mankind is looking at you in the mirror.

Our Joy Made full

Jesus, the fullness of love, is redeeming, restoring, and renewing His creation. He has come to rescue the rebels and heal the broken-hearted…through you.

Daunting? Let me encourage you, the fullness of our joy is found in walking each moment with Him, calling down His blessings. Listen to Jesus, “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.” (John 15:11) He wants what is best for you!

So, let’s take confidence in what our King says and start calling down His blessings. The glory of our Father is revealed when our prayers are answered. Our world needs the salvation and love of Jesus. Call down His blessings – ask and receive.

Have fun praying His prayers!
