Testimonies #2

Jesus is the God of miracles! He is still moving and active!

A couple of months ago, I would have told you that miracles and movements of God were not for today. Well…Jesus has shown me that I was wrong, way wrong.

In this special episode of the WordforWorship Podcast, I share a couple of experiences I had this past month that literally… blew. my. mind. I am more convinced than ever that Jesus is the God of miracles!

  1. Thank you, Taylor for sharing “Testimonies”! After listening to episode #19 yesterday and then this today my heart is encouraged! I received a scripture today from someone for another reason for something I am working on for them. It is Psalm 27:13-14 NIV. I have been compelled to read it over and over today. “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Lately, I have been less …. um “heart energetic” so to speak. Does that make sense? I realize He will show up in our everyday lives and I want an expectant, energetic heart to be ready! So yes, Taylor please keep sharing many of us are encouraged from your podcasts and blogs for sure!! :O)

      1. Hey Taylor…..just finished listening to your testimony and I remembered the day you shared with your grandma the “pray for China “ experience…God IS who He says He is ! Something that keeps ringing the bell in my life is the scripture “Be still and know that I am God”. Last year I had surgery and as I recuperated I wasn’t able to attend Christmas parties or sing with the choir or get Christmas dinner ready or do the “stuff” we busy ourselves with every day! He spoke to my heart through music…scripture songs and anointed words of praise set to music. And tears flowed as I felt His presence soothing my body and soul….I stand in awe of Him. Once again I learned that I don’t need the things of this world to make me whole…I don’t need the approval of others to prove myself…..Jesus is my enough. I don’t need society dictating to me how to spend my Christmas or how to live my life (what to wear, who to like or dislike, how to spend every moment of every day ) I need to live each day letting Him direct my life because He knows me! His voice has a clear and pure vibrance. Everything else is like the clang of sounding brass, blocking out His voice….I praise Him for reminding me to “Be Still “. I have found strength and boldness like I never had before since then….it’s scary when He sends you into the unexpected but we can be assured that it’s already planned out and we just have to step into it. People need the Lord and we are God’s vessels of light in a very dark world! And the joy , the smiles, the peace, the overflow of Jesus ‘ presence in it when we listen for and receive His call to move is unexplained but so REAL!!!! You’re right….He Is Alive!!! Brandon Lake wrote a song called Pour Me Out….it’s my heart. I love You Taylor. I’m so thankful for this podcast….God has truly blessed us all through it. And I do pray for Pastor Wang….Be Blessed!!
